Rivalry Takes on Southland Conference

“The South’s Got Something to Say.” – Andre 3000

Later today, Rivalry packs up the truck and heads to Nashville for Southland Conference.

I love Nashville.

There’s no question Music City has some serious culture. Add to it the creative spots like Pinewood Social and mix it in with a technology conference like Southland and there’s a recipe for some magic.

Ever since a large cohort of Atlantans visited Greenville’s startup community, I’ve been fascinated with how technology is embraced in other Southern cities. Nashville is definitely setting the bar for premiere technology conferences in the South with an impressive line up of speakers, attendees, and musicians.

PandoDaily founder and all-star writer, Sarah Lacy is leading the charge, quickly followed by the Inventor of the Internet, Al Gore. Slap on some J Roddy Walston & The Business in between whiskey tastings and what could be better?

At a conference like Southland, the agenda is simple: find leads, build personal relationships, and have fun.

We’ll keep you updated via Rivalry’s twitter feed and Instagram account on how it’s going and what’s worth sharing.
